Llew Garner

Llew Garner presents the Tuesday evening Blues, Soul, Country and Rock ‘n’ Roll programme from 6pm-8pm. Llew had 20 years plus involvement with hospital radio presenting various programmes and producing programmes starting in the 1960’s with Warrington Council of Youth Hospital Broadcasting Association. Along with Steve Calthorpe he was responsible for re christening WCYHBA to ‘Radio General’ which still remains today.

During the mid 60’s and 70’s (when he had hair!) he worked as a DJ in various clubs in Warrington, Liverpool and Cheshire. His taste in music covers a wide cross section from classical through to blues.
